Stephane Lajus-Debat is EMEA Director, APstorage C&I – EPC for APsystems. He joined APsystems Europe in 2024 to grow the company’s Commercial & Industrial (C&I) activity, with a focus on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and MLPE projects.

APsystems initially expanded globally through the residential market before going public on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) in 2022. The company’s BESS activities in the C&I market began in the APAC region, reaching 2 GWh of capacity in 2024. Within this context, Stephane’s mandate is to develop and scale the C&I BESS business across the EMEA region.

Prior to joining APsystems, Stephane accumulated 25 years of experience across the Solar, Wind, BESS, and high-tech industries. He served as Sales & Business Development Manager for EV batteries at Nissan Motor Corporation Europe, where he developed new business opportunities beyond the EV sector, including stationary storage and both first- and second-life battery applications.

He also led and developed onshore wind businesses across Latin America, Europe, and the Middle East for one of the largest Independent Power Producers (IPPs). Earlier in his career, Stephane worked in Sales Development for PV Power Conversion Systems (PCS) at ABB and initially served as Marketing & Sales Director for Eneco France, where he helped build and expand the solar business, overseeing sales and downstream marketing as a board member of the French subsidiary.
