Jeffrey Beyer is Founder and Managing Director of Zest Associates, a UAE-based sustainability consultancy, and Zest Cleantech in the UK. He advises governments, utilities, and innovators on clean energy strategy, cleantech deployment, and green finance. He has authored major studies on mobilizing green finance in the Middle East, accelerating the UAE’s hydrogen industry and innovating to strengthen Saudi’s power grid. He has launched innovation programs for UK National Grid, the World Bank, and the International Climate Fund, and helping establish national centres of excellence such as the UK Offshore Wind Innovation Hub, the National Renewable Energy Catapult, and South Africa’s Private Sector Energy Efficiency Programme. He holds degrees in Economics and Psychology, and a Master’s in Environmental Change & Management from Oxford University.
