He is the Founder & CEO of Modern Energy, an investment holding company focused on critical infrastructure and resilient, impact-driven energy storage innovation and technology. Modern Energy builds, backs, and scales technology and systems designed to operate reliably in some of the world’s most demanding environments.

Prior to founding Modern Energy, Martin held leadership roles at a British unicorn EV battery startup, where he served as Chief Governance Officer and Executive Director. His experience also includes serving as a Special Advisor in the Private Office of a senior member of the royal family in Abu Dhabi.

Before transitioning into the business world, Martin spent 11 years as a Police Detective in the UK. He places high value on relationship building and actively seeks opportunities to create value for others.
