Andrew Murray is a renewable energy innovator, serial entrepreneur, and investor, and the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Aslan Renewables. He is internationally recognized for advancing distributed, community-scale energy infrastructure that strengthens grid resilience and supports long-term regional development.

Andrew brings a systems-driven perspective shaped by an academic background in neuroscience and biophysics from Dalhousie University, combined with experience founding and scaling global enterprise software companies, including two successful exits. This unique combination informs his approach to building scalable, execution-focused energy businesses.

Under his leadership, Aslan Renewables has progressed from research and development into large-scale commercial deployment, securing Power Purchase Agreements across Canada while advancing international projects. In 2025, Aslan was recognized as a leader in energy-transition innovation at the Climate Impact Innovation Challenge in Singapore, supported by the Temasek Foundation.
